... to get in 1v1 against someone who has 25 lvl above mine and has a frigade while i'm in a brigantine??

srsly, 20k more hp and he can sink me in 3 shot... it makes no sense...

have u ever think about a balance in pvp? are u blind?

 

First off, level hardly matters at all. Second, BigPoint matches you up as best as possible, but not many Brigs will run 1vs1, so the system matches you with the lowest person that is ready. I would recommend becoming stronger before playing arena matches.

 

And even if you loose, you still get 250 ds for 10 maches.

As has been outlined above, you will be matched with the closest opponent available. Once you have played a team you will not face that team again for a while giving you the opportunity to play new teams. Sometimes this means you will face opponents who are significantly different to yourself, either stronger or weaker. It entirely depends on who is available in arena. However it is prioritised so that those closest to you get matched up before such matches might occur.

Are matches based on level, ship you are entering into arena, your hit points, how hard you hit, or something else?

 

In addition to what has been added, also keep in mind the arena is open to everyone at all levels and many top level players use the arena to unlock items they use throughout the game like arena flashes, etc. as well as to complete the daily quest for the arena.

My advice is like the others to wait until you're stronger and then go again.

 

from my experience
i had came across matches [ not based - on ur level, ship, hitpoint, hard u hit]
its based on 3 issues
First - your arena points [ eg if u r leading the arena 1vs1
u are wining all opponents ,
you will be getting tougher & tougher opponents, those who r trying to win - unlock DOW ship]

Second - your sea rank - if you are sea lion [i.e rank 4 ]
around 100 k pvp to 2500 k pvp [ all fall under rank 4
so you will get users from - level 25 - level 50
normally you will be getting sort of equal opponents [not exact equal strength & level]

Third , if no weaker or equal opponents fround during you click ready
& if level say eg- 40 user is online & he clicks ready

you might be facing him :-(
