Weird start for me. no gold and cannons

So i found this game figured ill try it out.
Started game and did the tutorial. and game started.
But what was weird I had no cannons no turrets. no Gold or diamonds. even tough i claimed login gift.
So one nice high level player helped me getting some Gold by joining my group (Eu server 4)
after some time i got gold to buy some cannons and cannon balls. so i thought ah nice,now i can play. but after a while i figured something is a miss. I do not gain ExP at all. still level 0. and i have the quest for next map area..

using Google chrome. and I see there can be issues with it. though i doubt it makes me unable to claim gifts and getting exp.

nothing helped cleared all cache. and no difference. still says i'm level 0.
tried using Firefox to nothing changed.
