Hello Forum Team,

We, the piratestorm community, have been asking for improvements for years, but as always we never received anything in return, except for the response from you, the forum team, who are very active by the way.

But we need to know what's going on, you guys reported that there are no updates because you don't have a financial return ($) for the Bigpoint team, but why keep the game open for so many years? why keep an active forum team? why keep support active? why keep the servers open? Surely there must be expenses to keep the game running, do you have any plans for the future of the game? why not sell the game to another team?

Why so much delay on the response of the return of the old PVP? you already have the entire system and configuration of the old PVP, how difficult is it to go back with it? We just need you to answer the small requests made on the forum, just by doing that over time the players would return to the seas and you would have the financial return that you want so much.

We need you to tell us how to contact Bigpoint, you on the forum team are our only contact, we in the Pirate community need your help to reach them, pass the information on to your superiors and COVER them, we need you to raise the game, while the servers are not updated and the old PVP is not back, the game will not have a financial return, we need you to believe again in the potential of the game so that they update again, because even after 10 years there are still active players...

I know you're the forum team and you can only relay information, but you're the only ones who can still make a difference.

The players are counting on you. Thank you for your attention, I hope that one day our requests will be accepted and we can all go back to being the Pirate we once were.

All I can tell you is that the resource personnel assigned to PirateStorm is scare to non-existent. The coding is old and dedicating personnel to dredge through the old coding does not seem to be a priority.

"why keep the game open for so many years? why keep an active forum team? why keep support active? why keep the servers open? Surely there must be expenses to keep the game running, do you have any plans for the future of the game? why not sell the game to another team?"

These are all million dollar questions. BigPoint is a business designed to provide entertainment and produce profit. The Forum Team is not involved in the business side of the game.

There is no way to contact BigPoint directly. They will direct any inquiries to the corresponding game support. Then, game support will direct players to make their questions/inquiries/rants known to the Forum Team. The ForumTeam is a player's direct line of communication concerning game related issues. Rest assured, the Forum Team does relay the concerns/issues/questions of the PirateStorm Community. As long as there is a Forum Team, we will continue to do so.

When we know something, the Forum Community is made aware of any knowledge we receive concerning the game.

Thank you for your answer WaterWillow, and for trying to help us all these years.

We in the PirateStorm community no longer believe or expect anything from the BigPoint team for many years now. The only hope we have left is that one day the Game will be sold to another competent company committed to its customers/players, as this is the only way we will be serviced again and receive the necessary updates.

We were forgotten all these years, PirateStorm generated thousands of dollars for BigPoint and they didn't even invest 20% to continue developing the game, and they just gave up without giving any satisfaction.

If you from the forum team really pass on all the information and requests that happened here on the forum all these years and until today, they haven't done anything, we believe they never will again.

Can you tell us if the union of the servers is still under discussion? or has this idea been set aside like the other past ones?

Many things have changed for players and the Forum Team in regards to communication about the game. It is difficult for all parties involved.

We have not heard any updates concerning a server merge since it was mentioned. We will notify the Forum Community when we do.

You put back a pvp system and fix some bugs on your game and the game will become active again as if by magic.

 

Exactly, it was only with these small changes that the game would be busy again and make a profit.

However, they no longer have a team of developers for Piratestorm, they just abandoned the game without giving satisfaction to the players who spent their money.
