The Great Pirate Tournament – Community Events

    This year we've arranged a slate of special community activities to run parallel to the battlefield events of the Great Pirate Tournament.

    On various days we'll be tracking the different achievements of individual players or servers. There should be something of interest to every pirate, whatever their predilection. Sometimes the major guilds will have an advantage, at other times the small ones. In some cases the battlefield will be perfectly level. Want to know when any given event is taking place? Check in your forums under the sub-category "Community Event Schedule." Naturally there are also outstanding prizes to be claimed.

    We'll also be offering a collective event running from the start to finish of the tournament. The goal here is to achieve the challenge threshold of experience points as a group to fill a symbolic bottle. If you all work together to fill the bottle completely then the entire community will receive a sweet bonus code.

    Because we know that you want to dedicate the first week to the Great Pirate Tournament and because they are certain to be some fine battlefield matchups, we're hosting a screenshot contest next week on Facebook. We are especially looking for action-rich entries. The winner can expect seals, eagle medals and cannonballs.
