Special fonts?

I know there's a way to use special fonts in the game, but I can't figure out for the life of me how to use any.
I try and paste from the character map and it just ends up looking normal.
Can anyone help me out?

If it fails to copy directly from the character map, have you tried pasting the characters into the search bar section of your browser and then copying them from there and pasting them to the name change pop up window? Am I correct in understanding that you wish to change your name to one with special characters?

 

Yes I want to be able to use special characters, and different fonts..I'll try your suggestion and see if it works.

 

Alright so it will let me use some of the special characters now, but it still won't let me use a different font...

If you tell me the font you wish to try I can certainly test this myself and let you know the results. I'm afraid I am unsure if unique fonts will work. It may be that fonts displayed in game by other players are actually special characters as rather than different styling. I'm afraid I cannot say with certainty at this point.

 

I was trying to either use Segoe Print or Segoe Script...I've tried a variety of others as well but no fonts seem to want to work.
