Sobek "improvement" causing problem

Is anyone else experiencing the issue of being blocked from earning a Sobek Treasure Chest because they had every achievement complete except an "Arena Season Winner"?
When they moved the season winners to General this morning we suddenly have "complete" Sobek Treasure chests without ever receiving the rewards.

Which completely misses the point. We KNOW it was intentional. However, it was done to make the Treasure Chest more attainable, NOT unattainable... :/

My sabek 1 and 2 seems full.
But I did not get the reward.

 

I think there will be MANY of us. They moved them for a good reason. But it was supposed to help make these chests more attainable... All they did was make it completely unattainable for all the already affected people. I would call this a partial serious fail for an improvement.

There is a simple fix for this.. all they need to do is add 1 achievement into each of the 3 chests. Say.. kill 100 players in 1v1 (Sobeck 1), kill 200 in 2v2 (Sobeck 2), and 300 in 3v3 (Sobeck 3). reasonably attainable, and would save support a lot of work in paying out the rewards.

 

Simpler fix. Spend 1 hour carefully creating a VERY simple Database command to give rewards to anyone with a complete sobek that does not have a matching complete Season win. That's it. trivial. Fixes everyone at once. Or instead of giving the rewards. Drop the simplest achievement by one level and we can redo that.

 

My Sobeck1 is now closed as well, with no rewards. Seems as if the chest was just as obtainable as it was before the "fix".

I hope we get our rewards eventually, as these achievements can be a hard slog. Thanks BP, for acknowledging our plight, and good luck with sorting it out, especially for people like me who had only the removed achievements left to do.

Yeah that was incredibly uninspiring....

As a programmer (and former DBA and Sys Admin) I find it particularly disappointing because I know it could have been (can still be, though would have been slightly easier a time of initial change) done with minimal effort during the maintenance.
