A dying server should have the choice to switch to a populated server. Or should get merged.

I believe that the game is fun and amazing. But as I am in Us1 the server is Dying. It's impossible to find people on open water most the time. It makes the overall experience boring. Like for Arenas? I cant do them because no one readies up. Battlegrounds? when reading up there are 3 options. You either get stuck on the losing side with really weak ships. You get put on the side with all the Destroyer of Worlds and its an easy win. Or you don't get into the battleground at all. I'm tired of the one sided battlegrounds, no arenas, and no one to sink on open water. It just makes for a very boring experience. Us1 has what? Maybe 20 dedicated players that are on everyday. everyone else gets on once every 2 months? Thats boring. I want a challenge yeah but not so much of a challenge that the fight is one sided. I want even sided battlegrounds and People to actually ready up for arenas. Why cant i just switch to a Eu server. I've heard of other players getting to switch servers. Why cant I? Or at least merge Us1 with one of the less populated Eu servers Please.

well fundamental issues are not resolved
when us1 server for reasons unknown is the server with severe log in problems?? how you expect to run a game when people can not log in???
the diminish of us1 start from that
    europe servers for other reasons

So many said no. I'm surprised to be honest. If Eu people said no I have no idea why because not much would change in their server expect some more players to face. If those are Us1 players saying no. That just means they are content with no challenge at all and like how dead Us1 is and don't have to worry about someone fighting back. Makes sense though. I guess some people like being handed stuff instead of earning it. :D

I would still love to take my boat to a more populated server. The only reason I don't play on Eu is because I don't feel like losing all the time and money I put into my boat.

    well the question is clear
    but not the options given??
yes stands for possible to move to another server??
    no stands for??? merge server???
    you need 4 options
1.each player choose to move to another server
    2. merge server
    3. do nothing
    4. something else

I have added a 3rd option which should help some of the no answers go away if they truly don't care and just wanted to pick no for no reason at all. Kinda ruins the pole if people do that. :/

also after yes or no put a bit more text
so for people to truly understand the options

you have a question that ask for 2 things
and then the yes or no applies to what?

They both involve doing the same thing. I believe they are the same.

  10. Hello Forum mates,

I will put my two cents in. :D

It is easy for BP to duplicate the items on a us1 account and switch them to an euro1 account.

It is no different than if those items had been purchased from the merchant and then became part of a players account--matter of fact a code could be sent to us1 players who want to do this and redeemed their account items at the merchant. BP does similar for event bonus codes at login already.

If, for some strange reason this would be too difficult (c'mon, really?) and BP balks at transferring a half dozen ships, hundreds of useless 9 pounders and steadfast harps then:

----each US player chooses only one ship (with all it's sets, bulkheads, keels, anchors, sails, etc) to transfer over and the cannons/harps for that ship.

All captains orders and seals also transfer as well as all ammo and harpoons, and all other purchased or won items they may have had on us1 including special items. Thousands of nine pounders, steadfast launchers and other rubbish will not transfer--should make it a bit easier to code.

If BP is thinking that us1 players will eventually cave in and restart all over on the euro1 server, they are very wrong---these last players will just find another internet game rather than start completely over, unless there is a seed to start them again. A single developed ship to take them to the new world would be that seed.

Do not delete the us1 accounts, keep them for a certain amount of time--after 30 days the us1 players should decide to stay or to come completely over to euro1. Pretty sure they will come though it will be hard for them to think of how much time they have invested--and money--because they are going to lose it all except the single ship. Those that will come over will be the best of the best who really love this game.

Now, if there is worry that this will bring too many players on euro1 for the server to handle--I seriously doubt that. euro1 has easily lost the number of players that still exist on us1--there would be no clogging of the server anymore than there was when euro1 was at it's peak capacity.

@ Synalith--it is likely that the "no" votes were from certain euro1 players who do not want competition for the top players slots each month. Your questions were not that difficult to understand.

No us1 player would have voted "no" because they do not have to move, they could just stay and play npcs if that is what they want to do until the server completely dies---that is pretty much what we are stuck with doing now anyways. The "no" votes had to come from some euro1 'fraidy cats.:mad:

So, 'fraidy cats, you've nothing to fear if an influx of us1 experienced players come on board euro1--after all you out number us at least ten to one. There are so few us1 players left that even if they ALL came over, it wouldn't even fill up a mid level guild.

Oh my! Now THERE is an idea--when the us1 players come over, they become part of a single guild :). Heaven knows we know each other well enough as there are so few us left, we may as well become one guild on euro1--and kick some 'fraidy cat tails :p

    Love and Rockets,

    Yellow

  11. Never have had a problem with logging in to us1.

The main problem is BP does not promote this game other than on the BP website.

Gaming is a multi billion dollar industry--BP has a really good game that no one knows about. There are plenty of people who would play PS if they knew about it.
