    Hello Pirate Storm Team,

    I would like to raise a topic that I believe is becoming increasingly important for the remaining Pirate Storm community.

    At the moment, the low population on several servers has a direct impact on core parts of the game. In particular, Arena and Battlegrounds are becoming increasingly difficult or even impossible to play as intended simply because there are not enough active players.

    This leads to two questions that I would really appreciate a concrete answer to:

    1. Is a server merge technically possible and is it being considered?

    A server merge could bring the remaining active players together and immediately improve several areas of the game:

    * Arena participation and competition
    * Battleground participation
    * PvP activity
    * Guild competition
    * Auctions
    * General activity on the maps
    * The social/community aspect of the game

    Instead of having small groups of active players spread across several servers, combining populations could make Pirate Storm feel alive again without requiring completely new gameplay systems.

    Therefore, could the team please clarify:

    Is a server merge technically possible with the current Pirate Storm infrastructure?

    Has a server merge been discussed internally at any point?

    If a server merge is currently not planned, what is the main reason: technical limitations, development resources, account/database conflicts, or simply that it is currently not considered a priority?

    2. Could the player and guild level caps be increased?

    Another issue is the lack of long-term progression for veteran players.

    Many long-time players have been level 50 for years. The same applies to established level 50 guilds. Once these limits are reached, an important motivation to continue earning XP disappears.

    Would it be possible to increase:

    Player Level: 50 → 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 100

    and

    Guild Level: 50 → 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 100?

    This does not necessarily require entirely new maps, ships or complicated systems immediately.

    Existing XP mechanics could continue to be used, while new levels could provide gradual bonuses or rewards. Guild levels could similarly provide additional bonuses and perhaps stronger guild-island progression.

    This would give veteran players another long-term objective and could also provide returning players with something new to work towards.

    Why I believe these two changes are important

    I understand that Pirate Storm is an older game and that development resources are limited. I am therefore deliberately not asking for a complete redesign or a huge expansion.

    A server merge would primarily make existing multiplayer content usable again.

    A level-cap increase would primarily extend an existing progression system.

    Together, these two changes could potentially have a significant impact without requiring the creation of entirely new gameplay systems.

    The remaining community clearly still cares about Pirate Storm. People continue playing, participating in events, improving their ships and competing for rare equipment. But multiplayer features cannot function properly if the remaining population is divided between too many servers, and veteran players need meaningful long-term goals.

    I would also like to help

    I do not only want to make suggestions and expect the Pirate Storm team to solve everything.

    If it is useful, I would be happy to collect ideas, suggestions and feedback from the remaining community and pass them on to the Pirate Storm team in a structured way.

    There are still players who care deeply about this game and have many ideas about how existing systems could be improved or revived without completely changing what makes Pirate Storm special.

    I would gladly help wherever I realistically can.

    Whether that means collecting community suggestions, identifying the most requested changes, discussing possible improvements with other players or simply providing structured feedback to the team — I am willing to invest my own time into supporting Pirate Storm.

    Of course, I understand that the final decisions and technical implementation are entirely up to Bigpoint and the Pirate Storm team. My intention is simply to offer support from the perspective of an active player who would genuinely like to see this game become more active again.

    Therefore, I would appreciate if the team could address the questions above as specifically as possible rather than only stating that there are currently no announced updates.

    Even if the answer is that these changes are currently impossible, knowing why would help the community understand the situation.

    Most importantly:

    Is there technically a possibility of merging Pirate Storm servers and increasing the player/guild level caps, and could either of these options realistically be considered for the future?

    And if the Pirate Storm team is interested in receiving structured ideas and feedback from the community, I would be very happy to help collect and provide them.

    Thank you for taking the time to read this.

    Best regards,

    A long-time Pirate Storm player
