Repeating Bonus Maps?

We know that the pick-up rewards from bonus maps especially Voodoo Skull are more beneficial compared to regular game farming.

Having noted that, there is also the existence of lives, and thus being able to try the map 2 more times in the case that you die.

My question is, having not tried what I'm about to say, is it possible to let yourself die at the last stage of bonus maps and be able to try the map 2 more times after dying, keeping the rewards, and thus receiving the picked-up rewards thrice before winning the map?

 

Yes.. If you run the map 3 times you will get 20-22,000 diamonds. Pick up ALL the boxes...

 

3 repeats at the price of one? Like, unlocking it once then dying 2 times and getting the number of diamonds for 3 runs? Is it really possible?

The Bonus Maps were designed to be ran and completed in 1 try, if possible. The additional lives are there just in case there is a disconnect from the game, a player is too weak and needs to try again later, etc. If you run the maps, as you are indicating, and something happens on the 3rd Life, then you will be unable to collect the rewards gained by successful completion of the map you are attempting.
