Q&A With the team? (Poll)

I think that the players should get a Q&A with the development team for Pirate Storm. I believe this would be very beneficial to the game, as we would be getting real time answers about our questions from people that can actually do something. Currently, the best way to get an answer about the broken game mechanics is to e-mail support only to get a answer like "Sorry, the game is the way it is".

If we had an actual developer that knows what the hell they're talking about, we could actually have an idea of if this game is still worth playing, and better yet, if it is still worth spending money on.

I, (along with some friends) would be more than happy to host this Q&A. Whether it be over Skype, Teamspeak, etc. I don't want this to be a "send in your questions and we'll pick a few". The players need to control the questions that get asked. Otherwise, we won't get answers to questions that are worth asking.

If we don't get a response to this thread, I think it is safe to assume that we won't get a Q&A and that there isn't much hope left for this game. Wedgewood, please forward this to the team, and let them know.

Where's my "This game is dead/dying, so no one cares" option? At one time I would've been the person to post something like this.. now I care as much about this game as BP does.. so very very little. Merry Christmas

 

Mac, I still have hope for this game. A really tiny sliver of hope, but it's there nonetheless. And a Q&A could help revive the game. If people see that the developers are actually still developing the game, they might gain more interest in it. And this also works vice versa. If they devs see that the players like the game enough to organize a Q&A with them, it might make them want to work harder. That's my hope at least. I guess we will see.

It's been a little over a week since Wedgewood forwarded this post... Still no response... I guess BP really has given up on this game :| They'll just keep throwing us a bone in the form of a new BG, or a new monster, until the game dies. Pretty sad really... This game has so much potential.

This is so true. I'm actually playing a game by one of the companies mentioned in this video. The only in game advantage they offer for real cash is extra stash space for your items. The rest is purely cosmetic effects and supporter packs, yet they still make more than enough money to expand their small indie company, continuously push out updates, and stay in touch with the community. This includes hosting podcasts, going on podcasts, answering questions, and giving detailed explanations on where they're going with the game.

Bigpoint makes MORE THAN enough money to expand their games, and development teams. Unfortunately, they are selfish **** face assholes. They're just going to throw in a half ass BG or some shit until the game dies. They do it with all their games, and they'll do it until people come to a realization and quit spending money on these ******* douche bags. The only reason I still check these forums and log in every other day is because I still have friends here. I'm not spending any more money in this game, or any other BP game. When I look for games to play, if it is made by BP, I will refuse to play it.

BP is BY FAR the WORST gaming company on Earth. When my friends realize this too, they will leave, just like me. If this continues (and at this point I hope it does so that all the faggots at BP go bankrupt) BP will lose customers, and will eventually die.

Now, if BP decides to fix their ******* act, I'll come back, I'll spend money, I'll be happy, and I'm sure many others will too. However, I don't see this happening anytime soon... or ever. My main piece of advice if you're a new player, leave this game. It is not worth your time.

 

Best advice given to any new player on this game especially this server. I reached almost the pinnacle of this game without dumping in much more money then I have and now I rarely log into to play. My friend and I logged in not long ago to play a couple of battlegrounds only to find a certain group of players so desperate to farm medals and have tags next to their guild logos to have members drop tag to manipulate the battlegrounds in their favor. This is very pathetic and shows the state of the server and their ego's.
