Suggestion Pvp ranking

Hey guys
I know this has been suggested but would like to make a poll
I have seen people on number 1 pvp spot and know they have worked for years to get there but for new people and existing players it's not very encouraging to go for 7m pvp points is it.. i think perhaps maybe do the ranks so they are based on pvp points earnt in 1 week or 1 month? This would appeal to a much larger audience and even encourage new players to stay and not think it's hopeless?

good idea ... but old players can't accept it hhhhh.

 

This idea will not change anything as the same players will still be in the same position at the end of each period. Because of there PVP capability - rankings will not change no matter the length of period

 

well you are wrong ranking will change
now people that done a wild pvp ranking can sit out not pvp form months and still be in top 100
even the top1 can not play for a week at times and still remain at that position

the ranking now is soldered and moving up and down is a slow process slower than a moving snail
it may be true that many pvp players in top 100 will again be in top100 when the period ends but not all of them.

Thus leaving a real opportunity for new players to try pvp to be something better in pvp ranking.

i suggested a new pvp ranking when someone becomes infamous to be awarded with a pvp ranking of 11 stars
and be removed from the ranking, and moved to a different ranking only for 11 stars. This way all the old players will slowly move to the ranking 11 and the normal ranking will not be so scaring any more and the best thing will change daily.

this is allready in the game a ranking for the day and a ranking for the month and a total ranking

 

Sorry slammer but you have misunderstood me, if it was already in the game, i would not of mentioned it.

 

well you mentioned you wanted a monthly ranking well that is in the game already
if you want some kind of system so new players can get to the top easier, these are my ideas.
for every month non active in pvp 100 000 points deducted from total score,
only 1000 points in a month 80K deducted, only 2K 60K deducted,only3K 40K deducted etc and if you make 5K pvp in a month no points deducted. that way high ranking non active/ not so active players will slide down the table resulting in active players climbing the table faster. just an idea

 

Both Death and Slammer are half right. The rank system for the actually items unlocked are only based on Total PvP. So for it to work but I think what Death was thinking was more on the Line of how the Arena items are unlocked because those are based on Points only during the Monthly Season.

Death is that worded more on what you wanted for the PvP points to be unlocked at different PvP point levels for that monthly or yearly season and then everyone starts back at Zero for the start of the next season. They can still have the total PvP ranking too.
