plz help-i don't know how to get new ships without crystals!

is it possible to buy ships other than the war brig,the brig and the sloop without crystals,i see a lot of players ailing around with cool looking ships but i only sail in a puny little war brigantine
plz someone tell me how to get new ships

 

My little friend, I can help you a little, listen up - There are some other ships you can buy without crystals. When you kill a player you get a skull and if you have 500 skulls, you can buy Piranha ship (see it in the pvp tab right under your quest ''!'' tab to the left in the screen)

You can also buy an other ship (destroyer) if you win 1 time in a arena 1v1 match for 10 million gold.

Important: The best ship you can buy without crystals is Dhuka. Go to zone 8b and 9b and complete all quests, then u can buy it.

Note: Crystals = diamonds

FrankThePro is correct. There are a whole host of ships available in game. These ships are available through four primary areas of game play.

All year round ships such as the Large Frigate, War Brigantine, Sloop, Dhuka & Cordone are always available in the Merchant (the Dhuka and Cordone require the completion of quest chains to unlock).

Warmaster Ships, such as the Piranha, Baracuda and Orca are unlocked by ranking up in PvP and are aquired from the skulls recieved by sinking other players.

Arena ships, such as Devastator, Gladiator and Destroyer of Worlds, are unlocked through arena rankings. The Devastator and Gladiator are gained through personal arena unlocks (achieving a certain number ofwins) whilst the Destroyer of Worlds is unlocked when your team comes first at the end of an arena season.

Event ships are ships that only become available during special events. The list of event ships includes, The Dragon Scorn, Godfather Death I & II, The Churning Envy, The Fist of Iceguard, The Frostbrand and the Blizzard. The events throughwhich these ships are available is usually once a year (based on common calendar holidays). For theseships they can be aquired for free after completing a series of bonus maps which each grant a discount towards the ship eventually resulting in a 100% discount.

Other ships such as the Ahab and Paladin can be unlocked more frequently. The Paladin is a reward unlocked when your guildmakes the top ten in Plunder point rankings atthe end of the month. The ahab is unlocked during the Monster Hunt event which occurs randomly throughout the year.

This is not a comprehesive list of all ships but a guide as to where ships can be found / unlocked in game.

N.B there is a monthly event called the 'Full Stock: Ships' event through which ships can be purchased for half price in the merchant.

Exhaustive as usual, Wedgewood! I would like just to give a li'l encouragement to Kazemiharada: I've been in that spot like anybody else starting playing this game. Same like you: going around for maps, looking at beautiful ships all around, getting sunk all the time and longing for being able to get a better ship. "Crystals", or like FrankThePro correctly said "Diamonds" can be obtained in different ways. The easy way is getting a premium account or buying about 412,000 using some $$ from your credit/debit card. The hard way is killing as many NPCs as you can and farming every day. Through the "boxes" and the completion of daily quests you can make up to 8,000 Diamonds per day. It's fun if you think about it. Anyway, happy sailing and enjoy the game.

just some suggestions
the arachne is a cheap ship wich only costs 85.000 diamonds and actually has better stats than the churning envy ship wich costs 200.000 diamonds. If you can get a hold of that ship , buy the might of summer or might of the eagle and you got yourself a good ship.
now the arachne may not be pretty , but it's still PRETTY good!
