Quick idea for events in the future.

limited blue prints/cannon tech that are able to be plundered upon death.
1-2 events per year only like 0-100 blueprints or something scale down for rarity.

When you sink a ship you get the blueprint but you cannot be attacked and have it stolen until it has been loaded onto your ship at port.

So if your strong you get to keep the strong guns.

This would work perfect because the ports keep you safe and ppl would be ganking you in fleets with friends.

Puts a fun competition edge on the game to keep other mechanics rolling.

  2. 73ounty, this is not battle pirates, they don't have blue prints and in all like they do in that game

thats not the point it can be a salvaged canon a plundered one skimatic blueprints w.e the point is for pvp you can make something like that. the name is pointless.

If you want to be the strongest pirate with the best guns why not have the game with the ability to release limited types of cannons that you can plunder from each other while sailing the seas. and have it on a cool down so you can't steal it until you mount it to a ship and sail around with it. have it the type of gun that once you equip it that you cant unequip it so ppl cant carry it as cargo and not get plundered or . or just have it plunderable at any time after the initial equip once you port.

I don't see why you even reference battle pirates.

This is one of the few ways that you can keep the pvp aspect and monetary value up in the game without it stagnating.

Cannons you can steal from other people that are limited but you can steal back with help from guild mates or just brute force. The pirate with the best ships and guns will have a slight edge to keep his cannons that can be stolen.

This would be a great idea but someone will eventually find a loophole

Yes there will be loop holes but thats the glory of it. You would infact in real life be able to evade with this sort of tech or booty. Staving off enemy plunders or thefts u know. hiding it away on your cargo shipment.

The thing I would like to see this game evolve more towards the SNES uncharted waters franchise. Multiple ships in fleets upwards of 6

plunder other fleets in open water for mass gold/diamond hauls etc if they are carrying.

Trading from port to port with trade goods that can also be stolen upon a fleet attack.

Give them the option to weigh up the odds in favor per guns/cannons/ firepower ratio ship class etc or fight it out.

That way it would give the game multiple outlets for replay value and then trifold that into pvp aspects

For example you may be a fleet/player that is heavy into trading so you have only 2 ships that are battle ships and 4 trading/cargo ships

get attacked by a rogue pirate guild or multiples it makes trading that much harder

there could be a increased % for trading for payoffs because of the potential of pirate attacks in open water open pvp areas.

There could be escorts missions for guilds to friendly guilds npc controlled barges and select number of guild members load into mission and follow it to a certain location/ Viable to attack from multiple guilds or just open water npcs.

lots of things you could spin off with simple ideas

  9. You obviously have not been around this game that long. We can not even get them to address the lag problem with deal with let alone implement anything new that is worthwhile. My advice to you is find another game with developers that actually give a flying fig about their jobs.

create trade runs???? Its not hard to travel...just use wormholes and u can get to anywhere in under 2mins. If bigpoint made the maps maybe then why not :)

we cant even get them t do their jobs they are suppose to, what makes you think they will do something that isnt their job title?

  12. Heck we can't even get a decent unbiased chat mod, I am having strong doubt there is even a development team anymore. Hate I wiped my butt with all the money I have spent on this game. I could have had something nice instead of a pixel ship on a dead game :(

I may have not been around the game long but I know how to give incentive to companies biased from revenue points.

Worked for few other companies. give this topic or ideas like it more steam towards them having to fix issues for a bigger community through updates and expansions and they will have to fix the small thing that make this freeplay environment just tolerable to spend a few coins once in a while.

Like i said thats why i suggested the franchise rights to *SNES (super nintendos) Uncharted Waters 2 new horizons enviornment based

6 ships per fleet all customizable
Open water pvp at all times( could have ports sanctioned by Live moderator boats that re modded ofc to keep the piece for set rules.)
Trading from various port to port for supply and demand goods.
Reputation rewards for the baddest pirate on the seas etc

I honestly think with what they have so far with piratestorm it would be worth the cost to franchise the rights and make Uncharted Waters 3 online and just use Snes uncharted waters 2 as an overlay for all the major concepts concerning trading/open water pirate pvp

It wouldnt be hard to take something like this and make it a game of the year. Keep the graphics simple so you can have massive open water pvp for servers and what not.

You could attack a fleet and be able to size up the odds and have a choice to surrender just your goods or your ships to the attacking vessel.

Then onward options of fighting it out anyways chance of fleeing. Have a red zone come up in the open ocean for pvp battles that are barred off from the rest of open water but is still viewable to others sailing nearby could do any number of ways

but make it where you have to steal and plunder ships as you go to gain lvls and get better ships
you cant just follow a story line to lvl up.

Start out with a small scoon or something trade your way up until you get enough gold to buy something nicer then start building yoru fleet for trade or piracy

You would have to give cannons more effects so that way you could variate the types of custom ships you could do. Branches out the pay to win aspect for the coin communities.

If everyone has the same stuff the game will stagnate ofc

No you would use a real map geography and that way you would have to really earn you way up to be a decently armed fleet. Just like in real life you would be attacked by pirates just starting out. Ofc you would have safe zones that where guarded so that you could at least get a start at a fleet but mostly it would be open water from the get go.

The biggest aspect would be the pvp

Where you could if you won a fleet battle in fact take what ever ships you had room for if you had hired captains to sail them.
sell or upgrade them(good way to get limited tech early on before you unlock it from levels points)

But if you do cannon tech that you can steal from each other and keep making more status effects on cannons harpoons your game cant really die off.

Everyone would have to early on port trade to get a slow income going, But it would be hunted just on the boundry from pirates lol

Dude seven posts really lol, the devs do not even read this stuff and more than likely there is no dev team just some guy in front of a computer screen answering a phone "hello this is Peggy". Go back and read through the pages of posts of suggestions and look and see just how many have been implemented. This is a company sucking the last bit out of a game while it still can and that is all. The amount of ship games in alpha and beta testing right now is staggering and BP knows they have no way to compete. Garbage servers, crappy customer support, and lack of development. You get better graphics and smoother running games on facebook lmao.
