Ok dives hate me or my acc is glitched

aight BP..... what is the ratio of map pieces to dives again?? isnt it supposed to be somet like 20% i believe? i have done this before but never got a strait awnser. i am lvl 31 and have put over 50k dias into half dive days before and i have 23 pieces of the voodoo map right now:| yea i said TWENTY THREE...... i did fill black rum 1 time and ran it 1 time, but the rest of the maps i havent filled yet:| so why is it that evey1 says that i should be getting more voodoo pieces? i still havent gotten a bomb yet ( will have 1 soon from upgrading ) but i seem to never be able to do voodo because i dont get the map pieces? so BP is there a reason that some people get less? is my account glitched?? i would appreciate some help on this because voodoo map is a important part of the game and i would really rather like to get some shiny new bombs/nailers

 

So, are all three non-voodoo maps full? If not you always get more pieces for lower maps than for higher ones until the lower ones are full. Never run the lower maps before you fill Voodoo. Then you still have to decide if it is worth ever running the lower three maps.
I have never averaged better than 10% over a lot of dives. Sometimes much worse or better for shorter runs. If you have not finished your dive achievements it is easy to track your rate of getting map pieces since they keep count of your dives.
Also, I stop doing dives on any day I do not get at least one map piece in 15 dives. This SEEMS to help but may be simple superstitious behavior on my part. Games like this lend themselves to superstitious thinking due to their SEMI-random nature. Perfect storm for superstitious thinking (Many people are convinced that you hit harder from a distance, yet I have found nothing of the sort though I used to believe it when I first heard it and seemed to see it happening.)

Anyway it takes me a solid 1300+ dives to fill Voodoo with the others completely full.

 

lol yeah fred none ofem fill except i did fill black rum and the lowest 1 once and ran them before i knew what the crap i was doing i wont ever run anything again but voodoo now tht i know better lol..... but neither voodoo or shooting match ever fill up, and if i was to get a map piece every 30 dives i would be happier than i am right now lol....... ive probably done 2k+ dives total and am still only at 23 pieces of voodoo:| even if i ran every map as soon as it filled im not sure the math adds up does it?........

 

I am not sure what the % is on map pieces ( I believe it is about a 10% to 13% chance that you get a map piece) that you get. If you have all the other maps full and 0 voodoo map pieces on half dive day, then you are going to spend about 60k diamonds to fill the voodoo map. So you have a long way to go since you don't have the 3 lower ones filled yet. Normally when I do 100 dives, I get between 9 to 13 map pieces.

 

lol guano thats the problem when i do 100 dives i am lucky to get 3:| and usually dont get that many.......

The 'chance per dive' to get a map piece is 20%. This stat description is not the same as: 20% of all dives will definately be map pieces. This description equates to the statement: Each individual dive has a 1 in 5 chance of potentially giving a map piece as a reward. Chance is not a guarentee or something set in stone.
