letters of marque

well this happened a few minutes ago buy i payed 1000 diamonds for guild marques and im not getting the guild gold or the bonus gold and im unsure why this is happening. i hope i havnt wasted 1000 diamonds for nothing.

 

From your post it is unclear if you actually activated one of the letters. Each one only lasts for 30 minutes of play time. Do you see the letters in your "miscellaneous" items section?

Also note, the Bonus gold IS guild gold. When you are running a Letter of marquee 75 you will keep all (100%) of your normal gold and your guild will be given gold in the amount of 75% of the what you earn. (which does not include the floating packages, just earned by doing things like sinking NPCs)

 

Fred is right. WHen I started out I would buy a letter of Marque and even move it to my action bar, but fail to activate it. It gives you 30 minutes of contribution to your guild from the time you activate it.

To check if you are contributing gold to the guild and have activated a Letter of Marque click the guild button next to the guild window and then to the Guild Treasury tab (last tab from the left). Periodically check the figure next to your name on the guild treasury list to determine whether you are donating gold. If your guild has 2 billion gold then you will be unable to donate any until this amount is less.

the guild has 1.992 billion gold and i have used 3 of the letter of marque 75 and still i am not getting any gold bonus. ill just wait untill the guild has less gold then use the letters of marque.

You only receive the donated gold back to your own gold reserve when the guild has reached the the gold cap of 2 billion. Until this point the gold you donate continues to be donated to the guild.
