Items to add to Merchant and Guild Workshop

I have (and other players seem to agree) 2 ideas to throw out there.

1) Make workshop resources available for purchase in the Merchant.
A) Items like Hemp, Oak, Amber and Brimstone available for purchase with Gold.
B) Items like Lead, Copper, Silver, Essence of Fire and Lunar Steel available for purchase with Diamonds.
This should give a lot of the smaller players an better chance of growing faster and being able to hold their own a little better against higher levels.

My second idea is for items like the Guild letter 150 and 200 and the Letter of Marquee 75 to be available for building in the Guild Workshop. Depending on how many plunder points are necessary to unlock these items, it should give smaller guilds a better chance of standing their ground against the larger guilds.

Just my thoughts and I am looking forward to your feedback on the topic.

 

yeah you are right about with the workshop resources....
they should make them available to buy in the merchant like u said (with gold and diamonds)...
But they should not make "essence of fire" and luner steels are available to buy......They must be earned!!!!

No it is not a good idea
They should only make letter of Marque 75 available to build not others...
They are elite items and must be earned....

i disagree greatly about the rescources.... the lunar steel and essence especially! they are both items that need to be worked at to get!!! if they were all avail in merchant it would make it possible for a money player to become full of bombs without ever leaving the port, i understand BP needs to make money but i dont think that this would be a good way to do it..... it would not promote the little guys who have few diamonds it would promote the big players with hundreds of thousands of dias.

on the second idea i would agree with frankentein marq 75s should be avail for building in workshop in my opinion, but not the high lvl letters because leter 100s are already availible.

 

You don't earn diamonds by farming and doing quests? I do , so in a way they are earned items.

Hellguy, i would guess about 90% of money players are already full bombs and eagle cannons already, so there wouldn't be that big of an advantage for them.

 

LOL XD if that happens guy who have full boombastics and very rich will have all boombastics lvl 3 in 1 day if that happens there is no way we poor can even geta egale medal so it is bad to have lunder steels and essences in merchant others are good

 

again, I am on the USA server and trust me about 90% of the big money players already have them maxed out in levels, so this would not benefit them as greatly as the smaller players. Not quite sure on other servers, but on the USA1 server, we like to help little guys get bigger so they don't get frustrated and quit the game.

How many medals do you get right now? If you are a smaller ship, you probably aren't getting any right now anyway so what is the harm not getting any now until you are able to build your cannons through the diamond you farm for?

 

i get 3/10 like that.....but that's not enough somtimes whole day i get no medals that's why i told u the luner and essence must be earned

 

so let me see if I understand you. Sometimes you don't get any medals and you say that is not enough. But you seem content with not getting any? I am full bombs/ eagle cannons so this change would not benefit me very much. And on the USA1 server, you earn diamonds through farming and doing quests so if I spend diamonds on those items I am "earning" them. I don't play on other servers so i didn't realize your players don't earn diamonds in the game .
