Suggestion Item Idea: On the open sea

  1. Hey, now that the game is in grave need of new players to play arena or BG, I would like to come with some simple item idea's which maybe can help bring old and new to the game. First off you unlock the new items from a questline that is available for everyone:

    Quest 1: Keeping it clean
    ''kill 50 enemies in less than 20 minutes''

    Reward: Disgusting lure x 5
    ''Increase NPC spawn in your current zone by 10%. The zone can't hold more than 2 lure's''

    Quest 2: Into the hole
    ''log in for 2 days straight''
    ''buy 1000 steel canonballs''
    ''upgrade 3 weapons''
    ''kill 100 enemies of your choice''

    Reward: Powerful lure x 3, 500 diamonds, 50k gold.
    ''Increase NPC spawn in your current zone by 20%. The zone can't hold more than 2 lure's''

    Quest 3: Together we are strong
    ''Stay in a group of 5 players for 15 minunts. the whole team must be in the same zone.''

    Reward: cognac of friendship x 3
    ''deal 2% more damage for each member in your group''

    Quest 4: Together we fight
    ''While in the same group kill 500 enemies of your choice. Players dosent have to be in the same zone. The team share the kills.''

    Reward: cognac of friendship x 5, group bonusmap

    Quest 5: Together we die
    ''kill the broken pusher in group bonusmap''

    The broken pusher shall be a strong enemy, who scales in strength as the players are stronger. Abilities are:
    Copy any item the players cast.
    If the players dosen't cast an item in 15 seconds, heal 10 % of total life.
    If a player is out of range in more than 5 seconds deal 5 % of total life per 2 second to the player.

    Reward: (Diamonds, gold, items) x playerstrength for all
    + 1 Seal of the empty future for all

    Lore (Seal of the empty future): ''Why! - I asked him. Why do you push every good hearted fellow out of the fruitful lands? He then turned to me and said ''Our gods have abandon us, soon there will be nothing to grow... all will die out and our empty shells shall sit glazing in the comos. I need to push everybody out, so I can have the last price that will come for meself.'' and in his eyes I saw heartbreaking sorrow. ''I once was a good man, but all that is long lost.''

    ''Everytime I look at this seal from a forgotton past, I see a glimse of the future...''

    ''What do you see'' - I asked him ''Look for yourself'' - he answered.

    Effect:
    ''Opponent see's absolut nothingness. sight is reduced to 50 %.''
    ''Opponent embraces insanity. All damage given heals the caster of the seal for 100% the amount for 5 seconds''
    Black aura is around the affected ship.
     
  2. um.....Frank? A bit Dark but the right idea :p

    Not sure what you mean by "increasing spawn"? You mean kill them so they have to restart?
     
  3. Something like 10% more monsters in the zone :rolleyes: - Yeah it's a little dark, but as always, I like to communicate my feelings of a... certain thing between-the-lines if you know what im saying heh
     
  4. Ha! if we are getting dark here, lets get REALLY dark.

    How about a guild fortress workshop where a guild can create high end, designer monsters to go along on attacks to other guilds and wreak havoc?

    ...and there could be designer defense monsters as well.

    The defense beasities would most benefit the lower level guilds because they get clobbered all the time for points. Higher levels rarely unless someone has figured they did not upgrade their fortress an the parley just ended.

    There are so many things that could be done with this game.

    Or even allow guilds to send mercenaries to plunder other guilds to deplete their plunder points without knowing the attacker.
     
  6. great idea, lol---the "game names" above the mercenary ships would just say "mercenary".

    still think putting up bounties on the top 50 players every other week would liven things up too. You sink them, you get something, they sink you they get something more because they have to deal with the hordes hitting on them---like an intoxicated blonde at last call :p (did I say that??? bad ...bad....bad....Yellow)

  8. how about that every so often you kill an everyday monster, except when it disappears the Mother of them all comes after you? Muahahhahahahaha (you think you're dark, Frank?)

    They need to put in as much time and effort into development as they do with Dark Orbit, this game is equally as good if not better!
     
  11. Tried Drankensang and tried Dark Orbit---they are not as good a game as PS.
