how to use an american express gift card ?

I helped a lot my guild for xp so they wanted to thank me with a gift card, but as I'm french and the games says I'm spanish, I don't have the same options as american people (I'm on server USA1) to buy diamonds.
So they decided to make an american express card and to give me the numbers for it. But when I tried to use this card, first there was no place to say it was a gift card, then it asked me many info such as adress, city, phone number, name... In fact live at my parents home so I don't want to receive a letter or a phone call... So I asked someone to give me his info, but it didn't work and I still can't use my gift card...

Is there a place to say it's a gift card I didn't see, or anything that could help me to use this card ?

Yes, I'd like to know if I'll receive a letter to my home if I put my address, and if I get the diamonds (and premium) immediatly after the purchase is completed.
