How many cannonballs needed?

Just wondering, how many Dragon Fire cannonballs do i need to beat the fire of the dragon bonus map? I have 71 cannons, and my guns are: 20 furnace cannons, 17 10-pounders, 21 large warriors, 2 18-pounders, 9 12-pounders, 1 small warrior, and a sound breaker. Thanks, and if have any tips for beating this map, please tell me.

 

I needed 6k cannonballs and I had 15 eagle cannons on deck at the moment. It's better to use fewer cannons to achieve lesser usage of cannonballs, but it's harder and longer...

 

If you use 10 large warriors it'll take about 7k. If you use rockets and such you may be able to lower it by 1k-2k. I recommend using eagle eye + thunderclap.. this would cause your lightning rockets to do around 2k dmg per shot.

 

if you use 1 cannons and thunderclap+eagle eye, you'll spend about 2k, with powder a lvl 3 moonsteal hits 82 base(without perf)

Apologies for the delay in replying to your thread.

To add to what has been outlined above you may find it useful to know that you can win Dragon fire ammo as a reward at the end of both bonus maps, one of which does not require special ammo to complete. Using cannons with a greater scatter will increase the amount of ammunition needed to complete the bonus map as the more shots are likely to miss their target. Using cannons with less scatter should result on more shots being on target and thus less ammunition required.

Yes, With all those cannons, what do you think would be the best setup for the map? Like what cannons should I use and which should i not use? Also i have the Dhuka ship if you think i should use that. Thanks.

 

Sound Breaker, 18 pounders and Large warriors.
Any of the other cannons would end up costing you much ammo.

You might not want to use all of the LWS, to save ammo.. probably just around 15 cannons total.

An order of preference from the cannons you have stated above, based upon their damage and scatter could be as follows:

sound breaker
large warrior
18 pounder
furnace Cannon
12 pounder
small warrior
10 pounder

I'm afraid stating a length of time would be speculation on my part.

 

Okay, here is the dealio, your best cannon, gun powder, eagle eye and thunderclap, armor and CO's should cost you around 2k depending on cannons. If u have a moonsteal, great, use that. If you have a bombastic, awesome, use that. If you have lws, use 5 of em, and upgrade them to lvl 2 if possible, that'll bring the scatter down to 40%. If you have the Bora Figurhead, that'll bring down the scatter to 30%. I used 2 lvl 2 eagles and 1 bomb, Thunderclap+EagleEye, ahab, DragonStorm Rockets(Area of effect bonus), and lightnings( which cause around 2k ish damage with thunderclap and eagle eye) cost me 2k ammo.

 

That'll bring down the scatter only to 36%.

 

since you have minor cannons i reccomend you use them all and use your dhuka your gonna spend about 9k each map for 5 maps so 45k. and you have to use gunpowder buff

 

it all depends on how long you want to take, i did the map using a LOT of rockets and 3 lvl2 eagle cannons for under 2k ammo, but i spent like a hour letting eag rockets reload and slowly killing the npcs with 3 cannons lol i would say that most people dont wanna spend that much time so a good inbetween is around 10 cannons. it takes a while still but costs a lot less than doing it with full cannons.

 

i spent 9k each bonus map after all time is more expensive
