Get Rid of Jokers?

    Does anyone know of ANY reason for the jokers in the Deep-Sea Diver to exist? As far as I can tell, the only effect they have is to delay when you get the "reward" from the dive. You get nothing extra at all, not even credit for an extra dive for the achievements, much less anything else.
    Am I missing something or is the joker just superfluous window dressing with no real purpose?

    yeah, jokers seem unnecessary. i once thought that maybe if you have 6 (max) of them, they might help get the rarer rewards at a higher rate. but no, it doesn't seem to make a difference. maybe the real purpose is to delay the reward, but still a fail because you can just use them with your next dive.

    Yeah, jokers are dumb. They do nothing. Get rid of them or make them useful someway.

    i say keep them because you get double with them do not get rid of them....?are you ill or what?what double? in first place you dive up joker -got nothing-then you must to have another dive to use this joker to dive up items!Joker no count like two dive or you cant use joker alone ,you must spend or diamonds or dive to use joker.So DELETE joker!!!

    their purpose is to keep you from getting 2 of the same map piece supposedly jokers are when you do a dive and it gives you a map piece you already have so instead it gives you a joker tht is just a extra dive..... im a bit skeptical of this because it seems i get a LOT more jokers than i do map pieces lol.....

    Yeah, that would not make a lot of sense. To create an elaborate Joker system when they can merely do immediately what the Joker would do on the next dive makes little sense. I wonder if it served a purpose in the past or was supposed to evolve into something. For now it appears to simply be a mildly annoying waste of time.

    Phil - you do not get double because you got nothing for the first dive.
