Exploding Crates

    I would like to have the ability to drop crates that explode on impact from another ship and cause damage based on how much gunpowder is loaded in them. They would look no different than the crates already in the water except possibly have a time limit before they sink or disappear that is shorter.

  4. Hmm, I see a box on the sea. Should I take it, or should I leave it. Maybe there are diamonds in the box...maybe I will explode. Tough choice :p

    Nice idea but I think it`s hard to implement. Anyway, it`s Pirate Storm, it should be transformed in Bomberman :p

  7. good idea but how to do it ? ...

    Would it work in arena also ? if so I'd use plenty of them on a place I want the players to go, or to escape if the ennemies don't want to walk on them

    I love to scavenge the chests... this would definitely kinda suck. But I do have to agree it would make it more exciting. If it does happen I would hope they limit the damage one can do, or have it level based. So, say a low level player wouldn't see or be able to pick up a chest dropped by a higher level player packed with instant death.

    Or ~ make the damage a small percentage of the ships total HP. The player control would be adding more percentage points to each one. say, up to 10% ... that way if a new player picked up a 10%er they wouldn't sustain as much damage as a higher level player that picked up the same 10%er. o_O
