OK...My idea is to create a time in the day for fishing (not between 12:00 midnight - 08:00 am) that will encompass all people so during "fishing time" the old pvp system applies.

This will simply give a window in the day for all to fish without getting destroyed to much and allow those that are taking part in the pvp season to gain pvp points but without loss to others.

BP will see how many players wish to fish because of the increase in numbers of players playing during this time. It will help in determining if there is a huge customer demand for the new pvp system to be changed/abolished and maybe include some of the suggestions given by the players with refinements.

The customer is still king and should not be ignored by any business because it can have a huge effect on income and this will hurt any business including BP.

N.B This idea is not the end result just a means to determine the size of the problem and hopefully help the all the players and BP.

  2. War_Wolfie,
Firs of, The fishing ( Farming ), It mite work, but in what time bracket are you talking, as all players are playing in a different time bracket, and, the players left over will only play in that time bracket, as the PvP is no longer save for new and middle lvl players and higher lvl players. We don't wan't to loos our SCULL nor our POINTS, it cost the player a lot to build up thees points and sculls, especially the new and middle lvl players that are trying to get some. It's bad enough to play against cheating players with boost up accounts, with unlimited items in there accounts, so why have the nonsense with this new pvp system, we want the old pvp system back, that caters for all lvl players in this game, meaning, it's not fare for a lvl 20 player to battle with a lvl 30 and higher player, if you split it in 3 sections it will work 100% for all players, and that includes the normal maps too, and that will stoop high level player to go to lower maps and sink lower lvl player to gain points. a lot of old and new players left because of this new pvp system, and the small group that are still on, 80% of them are cheaters, and the cheaters are controlling this game, and that needs to be sorted out ASAP.
Secondly, I agree what you said, the customer is king, butt, why is it that the moderator off Pirate Storm has not take all thees complaints to the relevant people in Big Point, as this new pvp system that was brought in with out a announcement on what they have planed, and if they give the players a chance to say what they think off this new system, they would find that it is a big no from the players. This has created a massive lost in income to Big Point, and the players that contributed money in this game, and now just have to right it off just because off this stooped pvp system big point dropped on us. i cannot understand that a big company can just sit and look how he is loosing supporters (CUSTOMERS) and do nothing to save this game. i paid for gold pack 12 month, and it's about 3 month old, now i loos on it as i plan to leave this game over this pvp system, and how mane like me is loosing, and that's not where it stops, how much money i wasted in every event on diamonds to get what i need to upgrade my account so i can compete with the higher players, and that's not just me, what about the other players that also paid for diamonds like me.
Thirdly, my feelings over this is that big point don't care, . They don't care about the cheaters, they don't care about this game, if they did, we will not have this conversation now, If Big Point cares, then why is it that they did not suspend this new pvp system and sorted the cheaters out, and repaired the pvp system. We as player can see how the cheaters run this new pvp, they don't farm but look at the score board, and you see that things are incorrect with the pvp points, like a lvl 1 player with 2000 pvp point, lvl 5 player with 2500 points, lvl 8 player with over 3000 points, all thees account are accounts the cheaters have to boos there main accounts a so gain pvp point by sinking hes fake (farm) accounts. if i have 20 fake accounts, that means i have 20 ships to get pvp points from on a daily basis, and if we have 20 friends with the same amount of fake account, you do the math, and the moderators cannot find thees accounts, rely, you wan't to tell me they don't check on player account to see how active it is, how it progressed from the time it was created, when it's getting activated in events. a moderator that knows hes/her job don't need photos, video's and a players name to find fake accounts, and if they don't know how, well, then they are in the wrong job and need to be replaced.
Lastly, Big point needs to clean up all thees fake guild, fake accounts, dead guilds and all thees dead players so we can have a correct system that shows the correct players online and correct active guilds available, as there are so many fake guild that are used by the cheaters, to do guild attacks, and so gain point for there guild and for them self's. If Big Point can do that, we will have a game that are fun to play in like it was when it came out. I hope Big Point will read this and do it and save this game before it's gone forever.

    Dear DragonWol1,

Great reply and its good to see comments that matter and are with feeling. I suggested the times purely looking at it from a European position and I'm sorry this was wrong. It wouldn't hurt there to be more than 1 "fishing time" during a 24 hour period and if you read my initial comments during these "fishing times" the game reverts back to the old pvp system.

I made my second comment based on business and its valuable assets the customers. If a business forgets its customers it will destroy itself (this could be the ultimate goal of BP, who knows) but only to a point as BP has a lot more games on the go. BP will do everything to increase its income whilst decreasing its pay-out (look at the rewards now compared to 2 years ago - very poor). You do not have to honour your agreement with BP just stop paying the monthly instalments and they will stop your advantages (I must admit I was looking to do the same but this happened, I wont be doing it now).

I was a big player 3 - 4 years ago in pirate storm but left because of the introduction of "Captains orders" and players using "one click" multiple mouse action software. That destroyed a once fantastic game but "captain orders" brought bigger buying power and huge profits for BP.

The fake accounts (which were on the go when I played) is one that could be corrected by watching individual account behaviour (including sign in) coupled with mac address login (not IP address coz VPN's could re-register and that in turn could change the IP address). In the terms and conditions BP could request the originating mac address before login. It can be assumed that from 1 mac address there could be 2 or 3 accounts (family members) but not 20. This would at least limit the cheaters to a small amount of accounts. Please note that some moderators also cheat by having multiple accounts so they will not take your grievances to BP.

The fake guilds tend to have 1 or 2 members sometimes more (maybe 5 to build up guild xp) but they do not stick with them so you could find out which guilds are fake easily and the fake guilds also have a high ranking player. Guilds should be deleted if they are not used within 2 months and this is part of the terms and conditions this would clear out the crap. I know that the cheaters use the guilds day in, day out but its not hard to spot a fake guild and I am sure that the moderators are aware of these but because they are part of an alliance they keep quiet as it is in their interests to gain more rewards (guild deck etc...).

If players were stopped from (guild hopping) being part of another guild for 30 - 90 days after leaving a guild then people would think twice before doing so and they may just miss out on new equipment. Wouldn't that put an end to guild hopping and just maybe bring back the real Pirate Storm.

Give me your feedback if your interested or disappointed with my ideas/views...its the only way to build improvements not obstacles...

    Wolfie...

when the game has its moderators and support game to play the game thats a good thing because they have an idea what you are talking about. but when you can not complain about them because they are the support and the company did not make a support dealing about the support then the players are left unprotected. not from other players but the employee of the company.
the employee of bigpoint is issue problem number 1 and the cause of many in game problems. they are not the help they are the disease

    fake guilds
yes because of what i said the company failed to see the obvious, fake accounts fake guilds, with so many employee playing the game there ought to be impossible for a fake guild and account to exist, but but but ..
if the support is the cheating element then the obvious is not obvious

    and lets put this rule
when you are at 0 points you can not attack any other real guild you can only attack 3 npc guilds the same as we do invasion
so that will cripple once and for all the fake guilds from been used
also it will correct the problem of guilds not seeing all other guilds when zero

solutions there are elegant, that can solve many issues
but but the obvious is not obvious
