BP is selling Godfather 1 this year... Why?

    So I have come back to check the game, see how some friends are doing and I see that the Godfather 1 is on sale along with the Godfather 2... Slightly infuriating. I farmed for 20 hours straight (not proud of this fact) to win the summer event XP contest last year and I chose the Godfather 1 under the pretense that it would not be available anymore (Aside from special events.) This a big ol' slap in the face to veterans that worked hard to earn things that should only be available to those who worked for it.
