    Some battlegrounds teams can be somewhat unbalanced in strength...it might be nice for the top hitter on losing team to get some consolation reward to encourage people to keep up the effort & from abandoning the weak team or hiding in a corner to wait the inevidable loss out.

    something like free dive(s), which is not too great a reward...least it become overly coveted & cause some to cheat their teams chances/efforts
