Arena 48 hour cooldown

I understand the original idea for making you wait 48 hours to change a arena team but it makes it impossible to get enough matches to open reward items in arena. I am level 50 and have a DOW but i need propellant. i have tried to play 2v2 with my partner every evening when we are both on for at least 6 hours every day and i still need 600 points just to get to propellant by the august deadline. i may make it but there are hardly any matches. if we could change teams or renew our team it may be easier to complete this task without the cool down. I think that the reward items for the arena should be rotated each arena season one twos and threes. So a person could depend on themselves to get the items. The only way a player can get a gladiator or tween deck on USA server is pushing alt accounts. This has stopped for people trying to get tween deck or gladiator as it is not worth the danger of a ban. But the same people that win the DOW season after season in two v two and three v three are still pushing look at the number of matches all when no one else is on. Rotation of the items would help normal player and ban of pushers will help us all.

I cant see how a player that has already won a arena season doesn't understand how arena works yet...you have won a DOW yet you do not know how to make points?
How do you think those of us that don't have a dow get points to unlock items each season?
How do you think we help people get the gladiator each season?

I think this just goes to prove the point people are making in other threads about the DOW being allowed into arena.... because if you dont know how to get easy points then you had help from somebody already with a DOW to win the 1 you have got.

 

this is simple answer really,, if you arent getting matches because your to high in rankings, try this: loose some matches!! then you wonnt be so high up in points that you only get main teams!! this would help not only you but it would help others that normally would have no chance in beating you. take it for what u want

 

Thing about that is.. it could be considered "pushing" as you're letting them win(also in theory, if you don't try your hardest in arena, it could be seen as pushing all depends on how legalistic you want to be).
It's hard to punish the cheaters without also punishing the people that want to help others.

 

This is why I usually consider the DOW as a badge of dishonor. Most players who have it likely earned it through manipulating the system and not through fair play. To sell out your integrity and go through such trouble (and possibly money) just to get a pixel ship in a game really makes me wonder what motivates people these days.

 

As per usual most boat drivers miss the boat. I know how the game works. I won a DOW in season 4 two v two we won 352 out of 362 matches all with gladiators, no one with a dow was on the team. No dishonor no pushing no blocking.

 

The only problem i have with DOWs are the fact that there are so many people who never came close to winning a season, and they're now sailing one.
