About using gunpowder and armour plates

    Hi, I have tried using explosive gunpowder and armour plates against computer ships but I get a message saying cannot use at this time.I am correct in saying these abilities can only be used against other players and their ships.Any help is much appreciated.

    Hi,

    Thee items cannot be used against other players. Instead they are applied to your own ship when selected. Once you have activated them they remain until being sunk or until you log out of the game. You can check which buffs are active by clicking the small arrow below your status bar (where your hp and xp are displayed). :)

    The reason you would get a "Cannot use at this time" error message is probably that your ship is already using a more powerful Plate and gunpowder. Is this the case? They will not stack.
