Transformation of the 2v2 and 3v3 arena system

Dear Developers and Pirates,

I am writing because on the EU1 server there is visible activity on the battlefields, and the 1v1 arena is also playable. However, in the 2v2 and 3v3 modes it is not possible to play enough matches to obtain the Gladiator ship, its deck, or the gunpowder, etc...

Therefore, I would like to suggest merging the 2v2 and 3v3 modes. The idea is that players would not queue with pre-made, fixed teams. Instead, each player would create their own individual team similar to the 1v1 system —and register for a shared random matchmaking queue. Depending on the number of registered players, the system would place them into 2v2 or 3v3 matches and group them together with other players there.

Furthermore, I suggest that player names should not be displayed during matches similar to the Buthu battlefield , so that everyone truly fights everyone without pre-judgment or targeting. The reward system should also be adjusted to fit this format in terms of arena points. For example, the top 5 players in this format could receive a Destroyer as a reward.

Additionally, I propose that at the end of the arena season, arena points should be purchasable.


I encourage everyone who supports or likes this idea to comment on the topic so the developers can see there is demand for it. Of course, feel free to expand on this suggestion with your own ideas as well.

It would already help if you merge the arena points. So the Arena points of all 3 Arenas ad up to one count. For example: 200 1vs1 wins are 2000 points which would unlocked aswell the Gunpouder from 2vs2 Arena. Our 100 1vs1 wins + 50 2vs2 wins would also lead to 2000 points ... etc.

It is doubtful that this suggestion will take place. This would require a complete transformation of the arena. However, the suggestion has been forwarded.
