Announcement Clarification: Player, Guild, Arena Team and Forum Names

Ahoy Pirates,

This post is meant to clarify what is considered or not considered an appropriate name.

In selection of Player Names, Guild Names, Arena Team Names or Forum Names, please understand that what is chosen must be first and foremost a Name.

Name: (noun)

a word or a combination of words by which a person, place, or thing, a body or class, or any object of thought is designated, called, or known.


Do not select a nickname which insults other users or has the intention of bothering other users. Of course, racist names, political names, sexist names, obscene names, names using vulgarity, impersonating another player (Duplicate/Similar Name), impersonating a moderator, blank (No Name), special characters or numbers that do not make a name (see definition above) or names which glorify violence are also forbidden. In addition, the name must be legible (easily read).

Having an inappropriate name may lead to in-game suspension(s) &/or warning/suspensions in the Forum.

We wish you much fun and enjoyment in the game/Forum. We do not wish for any of our users to be offended by names which can be and should be avoided.
