So when does this Summer event actually end?

Need a little clarification as the pop up when logging in and the thread here have conflicting ending times. Pop up says the 14th of July while the official post by Fluffkins clearly states the event lasts until the 28th of July.

If the difference is to allow players to purchase items after it ends on the 14th, then That should be stated there insted of,

• " Q: How long does the Great Pirate Tournament last?

• A: The tourney lasts for 69 days and begins on May 20th at noon and lasts until 12 p.m. on July 28th."

So would someone please be kind enough to clarify this obvious mix up?

Perhaps they will leave the shop open until July 28? They do that sort of thing sometimes?

Fluffikins? Wedgewood?

I agree with ya, they always have a few days to purchase items after event like this. But it does not state that in official thread posting by the Team Leader. That post clearly states the summer event Ends on the 28th of July. That is why I started this thread to ask for clarification as to which ending date is correct.. The thread or the pop up.

Fred_Filthy is correct. The date listed in the 'Current Events' tab should reflect the end date of the ongoing activities (e.g. battleground games) associated with to the event. The end date listed in the forums should reflect the end of the event in its entirety i.e. when items will no longer be available.

Yes there is. It says in the forums in the official post the "event" ends on the 28th of July. There is no mention anywhere of when the items will still be purchasable.There are just two different dates the event ends. So for you to say, "The end date listed in the forums should reflect the end of the event in its entirety i.e. when items will no longer be available." Is not really clarification because what it says in the official post contradicts what you say " Should" be.

If the end date is the 14th of July when the event ends, this should be placed in the official announcement and then added that the items may be purchased until the 28th. Also the number of days should be changed to reflect the amount of days the actual tournament will last.

So as you see there are still issues and I do not want this thread closed till resolved.
