i have an idea that could make a lot of ppl happy in my opinion! put materials in the auctions occasionally, not for gold but diamonds like smugglers bay auctions. most every1 complains about how hard materials are to get, so make them availible for a price. it gets BP money because people will buy diams to bid, and gets materials out there in another way. maybe do auctions of 5 lunar steel 5 essence 5 silver 10 copper 10 brimstone 10 iron and 15 of each of the other base mats all for diamond auctions? this wouldnt let people get like WAY too much of a mat but gets income and helps people get materials. just a idea i think is good vote whether you think it is or not!

it more fun and you have to work hard if players use training in the workshop they would get the materials all the time that what i do your just making easier for the stronger player to be stronger. allot of players can afford to be splashing out diamonds here and there i personally would not i rather keep my diamonds for improvements for my ships or buying seals for scroll of powers and also upgrading my captains orders to i can see where you are coming from mate.
Or what big point should do it let you disassemble cannons you are not using in the workshop for materials and do it the same was as if you are upgrading the cannons have a fee of so much and a time frame.

ahhh but you cant get lunar steel essence or silver from workshop training plus even if it does help the stronger players some it gives the weaker 1es a chance to get the materials too.... not to mention it would bring in a fair bit of income for bp, thus helping the whole game along

that why they have it on bonus map i think it more fun when you have to hunt for it instead of having it handed to you on a plate

tru but the map does cost a potload of dias to complete not to mention you have to have a decent ship to do it in otherwords its dificult for newer people to do it. im lvl 28 ( ik not very high ) but ive put around 20k ds into dives on half days+ all my free 1es and im still 112 pieces short of doing it ***** begining to think bp dont want me running voodoo lol:p but that aside it would be good for the newbies to get some materials to upgrade their cannons when its hard to get them otherwise

tru a few but a lot of times newer people cant get into bg beause they dont hit enough or have trouble finishing the achievements ( except sinking ) because everyone is too preoccupied winning.

yes but it still a way of getting them if you repair you get materials if you sink so many players in the battle ground you get materials you even get materials for getting sunk so in away it worth going into the battlegrounds and getting sunk just to help you get strong and improve

i agree with the stuff phil1958 said.

ROFL. talk about playing a game [which is supposed to be a challenge] but wanting your success and rewards on a silver platter RIGHT AWAY. lol.

newbies have a hard time on BG? that's normal because they are newbies. don't complain about that. if you're still a newbie, just accept the fact that you're still a newbie... and have fun improving. Remember all the "patience lessons" you got from your parents and teachers. ;)

should bigpoint make essence of fire and lunar steel available for purchase, i suggest they make sure that buying those items would cost more diamonds than it takes to complete all pieces of voodoo. [i voted "no", but if this is the condition, i would change my vote to "yes".]

lol :p its not me tht its about its just somet i hear a lot of complaints about ( i do complain about voodoo ratio a bit ) but ive got plenty of mats, but i hear LOTS of ppl complain about not being able to get copper more than anything else to upgrade lwc etc.... nd not to mention think about the ppl who spend thousands on this game lmao it would probably be on up there in prices... but point would be more than anything have it availible to new players at a cost but attainable rather than trying to run voodoo map in a dhuka or piranah lol

the copper, lead, silver, hemp, oak, amber, and brimstone are all easy to get. dirt cheap too. it just takes time and patience... and taking advantage of opportunities such as the winter event bonus maps.

their (and your?) problem is wanting have everything they want RIGHT NOW by all means instead of working their (edit) off and earning them. too spoiled, impatient, and boring. no offense.

a dhuka/piranha can finish bonus maps. lol. even a small frigate or devastator can. the ship is not the real problem. if you are not strong enough to finish bonus maps yet, no need to get desperate. you will get stronger eventually. take your time and enjoy the process. challenge is the essence of a game.

using brains also counts. you wanna make bonus maps a bit easier? be strategic. you can use emblem of peace/silence, etc. use bermuda flashes and repair when your hp is low.

btw, according to my guildmates with full bombastics, completing voodoo skull would always cost you between 50k-70k diamonds if you do the "trick". they also do the gambling thing 2-3 times after finishing the map.

good luck mate. i hope i was able to help.

  13. Yeah, voodoo map pieces are way too scarce! I'm level 36 and have yet to complete the voodoo map once!

A good thing would be if players could sell off some things that you have extra of in investeriet! Otherwise, players will have more stuff than they need and it becomes too full, just a view of the improvement of the game!

  15. I agree with qwerty up there. The only items a person does not get in workshop are lunar steel and essence of fire, which are found in events, voodoo map, etc. To the person who was a level 36 and had not done voodoo, that is up to you. You seem to have used your dives to do the other bonus maps.

  16. "You seem to have used your dives to do the other bonus maps."

Right, NEVER do one of the lower maps before you fill them all or you will pretty much never get to voodoo. I think most experienced players never do the other three at all.
I had all of them by level 29 from free dives. But I always picked up every box I could find and focused on maps that seemed to give a lot of dives (Byrades).
I have finally filled up the first three again and will never do them so that I can refill voodoo faster next time. Live and learn.

And yes, you can get all materials from the shop except Lunar and Essence. I've piled up over 500 unwanted(for now) silver while generating the ones I currently need.

Qwerty and Fred_Filthy are right. I have only been playing for six months, but I have over 150 Essence of Fire and over 30 Lunar Steel just from events and achievements. ALL of the other materials are available from quests, achievements, and from buying more training in the workshop. You cannot guarantee which materials you get from each training session, but with patience you will learn which materials you are likely to obtain from which type of training.
