MONSTER HUNT event

i have a few questions and a reply could help because its a first time that i have ever seen this event
about counting process
1: only after preparation time ?
2:i must use the items of the event ?
3:if i shoot monsters with normal harpoon it will not count or it will?
about the items in the shop
if i will buy something from the event shop it will remain in my property or will disappear after the event ends ?

I am not one hundred percent certain of what you are asking regarding your first question so I apologise in advance if I have misunderstood you.

Regarding your first question: The sucessful kill of monsters will only count once the compeition has begun. There will be a preparation time and countdown to the begining of the competition. If monsters are killed before the countdown and preparation time has ended these kills will not be included in the scoreboard.

Regarding your second question; To the best of my knowledge you will not have to use the items to participate in the event although these items will potentially give your a stronger competitive edge.

In answer to your third question; To the best of my knowledge you will be able to use commonly available harpoons such as Stone Iron and Steel Harpoons and will not have to use the event Harpoons to participate.

To answer your last question; The items you purchase will remain in your property once the event has gone.

There seems to be some confusion about the ahab being available for purchase or whether it is part of the prize for the top 10. Can someone please tell us if the ahab will be for sale with the spears as that is how i read the announcement.

That is how I read it too, seemed pretty clear.

 

Is there a ranking for the monsters such as zone 30 monsters count for more than monsters in zone 9 or is just one monster one kill?

 

Will we get credit for killing monsters in zones where we don't normally get boxes?
Why is the Ahab being called a "new item"?

 

Yes this is the case. The Ahab should be available to all players as a means of preparation for the event.

To the best of my knowledge it is the number of monsters killed that will be counted I.e one monster one kill.

Edit: Until the event is underway I'm afraid I cannot say with certainty.
