Battlefield Quests vs Dune Sea Quests

    During the last Battle Field Event, I failed to complete two of the Battle Field Quests, so I cancelled those quests. Since that time those two quest have persisted in my "First Mate" Quest section, and I have stopped getting any Dune Sea Quests. Is this a bug being worked on by the Development Team, or is it a problem just in my account needing help from the Customer Care Team?

    Hi,

    I will enquire about this on your behalf. However to troubleshoot, have you tried clearing your Flash cache and Browser cache to check if this resolves your issue?

    Thanks for looking into this, Wedgewood. I have my browser set to delete the Browser cache every time I close it. I was unaware of the Flash cache issue. I will try yhat as well.

    Dear Wedgewood,
    Here is an update. I cleared the Adobe Flash cache. No change. This afternoon for the first time in almost a month I was able to find a "Daily Training" quest in the Dune Sea harbor to kill 25 Madrids in the Dune Sea. I completed that quest . But got no credit for completing a Dune Sea quest in the Dune Sea Buccaneer achievement within the Desert Treasure Chest. That achievement still shows 9/12 just as it didover three weeks ago.

    How can I find a Dune Sea quest to allow me to complete this achevement????????

    Thank you for the update Greatbeard.

    Daily training quests do not count towards completing this achievement. However for certain quests in Dune Sea and Oasia some of the quests direct you to other zones to complete a task. What I would recommend to troubleshoot is to travel zone by zone checking for missing quests in both the zone and zone port.

    Okay. I have completed “Daily Training” quests under the First Mate section, that I accepted both from the Dune Sea Harbor and from other harbors, that took me to the Dune Sea.

    I have completed Tavern section quests like “Line in the Sand”, many times, that I accepted both from the Dune Sea Harbor and from other harbors. This quest requires completing tasks in the Dune Sea regardless of where you accept the quest. Upon completion of this quest I have not received any credit on the “Dune Sea Buccaneer” achievement in the Dessert Treasure Chest since early December 2013.

    Today I have sailed to harbors in Zones 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8a, 8b, 9a, 9b, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20. In Zone 14 (Rikki) I found a non-“Daily Training”/ non-“Line in the Sand” quest called “Empty Stores” requiring me to sail to Dune Sea for completion. I completed that quest for the second time this month, but I still have not received any credit on the “Dune Sea Buccaneer” achievement in the Dessert Treasure Chest either time. (I had not ventured to Zone 14 until last week when I first found that quest, and completed it for the first time hoping to make progress on the Dune Sea Buccaneer Achievement.)

    Also the “Battle Grounds Ahead!” and “Champion of the Battle!” quests continue to take up spaces in the First Mate section of my quests not yet accepted ., as they have since the begining of December.

    Is there something I am still missing?

    Well Wedgey,
    It seems the tides have changed again. I sent me First Mate to the harbor to deliver me last missive to you, and as is his habit he stopped by the tavern before returning to the ship. Upon his return he informed me of a new quest in the Dune Sea. Since then each time we complete a quest and return to the tavern to celebrate, a new quest awaits us. Some times the seas are calm, but there is no wind for yer sails. Othertiimes the winds are more than ye bargained for and and the seas are as rough as ye can bear. Best to just take what comes and mind yer rigging.
