    No. Definitely not. The game is left on life support, abandoned by Bigpoint. They do not care, and most likely will close it one day when they feel like they could use the servers for something else. By that I mean they "upkeep" the servers with a lot of hardware. If they feel like they could use that hardware somewhere else, they will most likely just shut it all down.

    I have to agree, pirate storm made a lot of profit and they didn't invest 10% of that return in the game, they have a gold mine in their hand that they didn't know how to manage
