Second time we are missing a national holiday!

This is the second time where we miss national holiday. First time was 17th of March - UK national holiday and today 19th of May is Turkey!
I don't know what you are doing, but I am on a verge of destroying all my ships and dust the game.

As for your issue with missed Pirate Holidays, there is no guarantee that because a day was celebrated one year that it will be celebrated the next.

The Terms of Service may be found in the Pirate Storm Bible Index. There you will find the following:

6.2 Bigpoint may, in its sole discretion, and at any time: (a) modify the Games, Tournaments, or features thereof; (b) add additional Games, Tournaments, or features; or (c) remove existing Games, Tournaments, or features. Although Bigpoint sometimes may provide you with notice of changes, Bigpoint reserves the right to make changes without notice.

The Pirate Fest Event, as well as the Blood Moon Auction, were abandoned completely at one time. Both events are now back. But as your fellow pirate, ChasJohnLadbrook, stated the Pirate Fest Events are random.

WW, I really like you as definitely you are putting a lot of effort into this forum, but for the past months or even year BigPoint is not giving us any clear updates/announces or any kind of information whatsoever of what is happening or what will happen even in 1 day advance.

I believe or I hope that you(mod team as a whole) can start the initiative with the actual dev/supp teams to give us at least information regarding "Games, Tournaments or features" with at least 1 day advance.

It is kind of greedy to put endless diamond rush, but to keep us in the dark, I think it is fair for us to have that information before the actual event occur.

No Argentina national holiday. Yet again, this is getting annoying. I mean, cutting the only way we can get decent amount of diamonds is not the way of prosperity. Just saying.

 

What exactly do you mean with ''the Pirate Fest Events are random'' - that they appear on random days rather than holidays, or that they appear only on some of the holidays on which they used to appear in the past?

 

Basically, WW said that BigPoint can decide if a certain event should or should not start. I did not see any relation with National holidays as they are always hold on a certain date, but I've spoke with people in EU3 and they said that this is happening for quite some years. National holidays to be held and not started, which makes sense with these constant 3-4 days of Diamond rush that occurs in past 1 year, maybe more(I am not certain as I started playing again in late September 2018).


I don't like the idea of holding back such events as they are the one of few events that can provide certain amount of diamonds to players who are still playing the game. I find it greedy and anti-logical.
But as stated in terms of use, BP can change whatever they want, whenever they want.

Probably from now on, I will think twice before I open a thread for anything related to events as it seems BP can do whatever they want.

You may not start the tournament, let's see what will happen!

The Pirate Fest Event, as well as the Blood Moon Auction, were abandoned. When Bigpoint brought the events back. The Pirate Fest Event has ran on the countries Birthdays.
