Yup, another Spider Bay--over in less than a MINUTE.

Got about 11000 in damage out of my cannons before it shut---my ahab shoots 1000.

NO coins given.

So exactly what is considered "actively participate" in a BG that is timed in seconds vs minutes?

Why is this absurd rule even there? If you are worried about people not shooting guildmates or friends, then block all names like you do in Death Jaunt.

 

Problem with that is. Most Players Use teamspeak to get around that already like on Death Jaunt they all band together and then its 5 vs 3 when its suppose to be a bunch of 1v1s.

 

Yeah I thought of that later. Still--exactly what constitutes actively participating I wonder.

 

Depending on your Lvl. How much damage you do and a set amount of damage and bg actions in order to get a coin. Little players don't have to do as much but its still hard to accomplish
sometimes.

 

the active participation is broken
i do 215k damage i get no coins
other player in same battleground he does 17k he gets coins
that same player does 37k of damage gets no coins

!?!?!??!?
in anansi player got box 10k for battleground actions form that shoot 2 times 3k of damge for a total of 13k and get the goins
the same player with 25k or 35k gets no coins in other battlegrounds

so what is the rule???

 

215K damage and no coins is ridiculous no matter what your level

...and seriously, who the heck voted that they LIKED waiting 15 minutes to play and get no coins? Is there a Masochist Guild? (OWW guild letters???)

 

Takes into account Battleground actions too. If that is low you wont get a coin. and if the top player is getting way more then everyone say a really big amount compared to yours. Not many will get a coin.

 

Where/how did you read that Syn? I want flippin PS to post somewhere--even in forums---what criteria they are using and if it is that complicated they need to dump the participation clause. I don't even play battlegrounds anymore. the ones I could play that werent over in a few mins I've already gotten all the coins I want from--the others are a waste of my time as I dont even need skulls anymore.

 

Mhm i belive it takes what the top player is dishing out and compares your lvl and how much you should be doing too.

its not the first time it will not be the last that the coins system is not working as it is supposed to be

or the coin system works okey and the forum moderator did not post the exact mechanism the coins are delivered

because at it stands now
lodos and anansi the 2 problematic battlegrounds the coins seem to be random given

ANY HELP FROM THE FORUM MODEATORS
what is the minimum to get a con to anansi and lodos???

 

I'd also like to know the specifics. and for each battleground if they are different.

 

I know there are forum monitors and they read these daily. Yet, no response when they were asked by three posters in this forum what the rules are for BG coins. C'mon PS--what is the rule?

Unless there arent any rules and those BGs are just glitchy.

I have inquired into the minimum requirement to get coins in both Lodos and Anansi. The dev team have stated that you must get a certain amount of battleground action points to be given coins however the exact amount would not be released.

 

Thanks for trying Wedgewood, I just played a round of spider bay that lasted less than 40 secs--we were hit with 3 DoW leading the attack in addition to the usual assortment. i got an assist in a sinking and managed to get off about 50k in damage--then it was over and the other team won. because it went so fast--no coins again. I was fighting with my ahab.

Wedgewood--the company was sold, the usual algorithm in such a situation is for the new owners to keep a skeleton crew onboard of the old company's employees until it is decided what the new company wants to keep or dump of their new acquisition's accounts.

The fact that you could not get a straight answer means that they don't know, these are not the people who have run this game for the last several years and this tends to indicate that PS is not going to be continued. I also never got a response from my query sent to their "help" email last month.

Pity, its a good game.

 

I'm sorry that I was unable to bring more clarity to the subject. I may be wrong but I suspect that this information is not being released to prevent its exploitation. If this information does become available for release it will be posted in the forums.

BG is so worried that cheaters would exploit such a "formula" that they would penalize their faithful players? Exploitation by the company or by the hackers, either way players who have supported this company for years are being used. I've gone back thru my PayPal account and am pretty shocked at what I've spent on this game in the last eighteen months. I've decided to no longer spend on Big Point games. It is like throwing money at a black hole and I can't be the only one feeling like this.

bigpoint never cared much for what their players want, tis all about the cha-ching $.$, as for the OP i totally agree such BGs are only beneficial to those who have full ships and use items for the eagle medals and not for the newer players who only want the bg coins...or even for strong players that only want pvp for that matter. the wrath of carnage bg is worst for this.

i always wondered if you played ps and on what server, want to shed some light on that?
