Feedback My Thoughts: Halloween Event

Hey forum.

I have seen that the test server is now open for the new Halloween Event. I entered the server and saw the new features. Some things are bothering me. First of all: The lack of imagination. I mean, adding the new item ''ghost blood'' is just to cheap. Changing a items name and the stats dosent make it a new item. We got so many bloods already, so many items with the exact same effect. How about a fear rocket that makes you lose control of your ship for 3 s? or a lifedrain item? Or a ''chance to miss a shot buff item''?

The new set is also a classic from BP, just + canons and + hp. It seems weeker than the frostset and I wonder what the reason is for that? I would give it a complain just like the new blood, but it got another effect! Fluch Der Geister.

It would be a very good idea to give a description of what it does, which is very hard to miss, before buying the item. Not just a description on the forum, but one ingame. I have brought the set and I still dont know what it does. So I wouldnt comment much on it. Its nice seeing a new effect, but mark it properly so it dosent seem unfinished and random. The name of the effect is in german, but its a test server, so I hope it get fixed when released.

Then we got the same bonus maps, ships and the other classic items. Its fine to have some classics, but the new items souldnt be almost the same as items already existing.

In short: The updates of this years event feels very small and somewhat copy/pasted from other events/items. I think BP needs something new and exciting for this game to have a chance, not just mathematical unfavorable sets. Therefore the semibad rating*:

''Fluch Der Geister'' can boost this rating up to 3/5 or even 4/5 if the ability seems relevant or funny - someone wanna explain it?

 

Fluch Der Geister is now labelled as "Ghost Curse", I would like to know what this does....?

 

Any feedback to what the Ghost Curse is? Anything?

The ghost Curse is part of the „Ghost Power Set“. The curse is a 12% Chance to slow the enemy about 45% for 6 seconds.

Slow the speed of ship or the speed of shooting ?

To the best of my knowledge it slows the speed of a ship however maybe someone else who currently owns the set could confirm this. If not I will check to be 100% sure.

 

It is very critical if it affects the reload speed for 6 secs.

 

It affects the speed of the ship rather than the reload speed.

 

Would have been the set to get if it affected reload speed

This is a 12% chance to slow them down 45% as you are shooting them, I am assuming? Has anyone purchased and confirmed this? Just curious. Thanks.
