is there any possibility of obtaining the previous 4 dates of the half price ship days.

To the best of my knowledge the dates of the previous four 'Full Stock: Ships' events are:

24th February 2015
2nd February 2015
13th January 2015
3rd December 2014

there is something else what materials do each workshop training give?

 

There seems to be two types of material groupings:

Lower Tier: Amber, Hemp, Brimstone, Oak
Higher Tier: Lead, Copper, Silver, Essence of Fire, Lunar Steel

The trainings break down as follows (using above terminology):

Basic training (I): 5 x 'lower tier' material
Basic Training extended (II): 5x 'lower tier' material + 5x 'higher tier' material

Advanced Training (III): 5x 'lower tier material' + 5x 'lower tier' material
Advanced training (IV): 5x 'higher tier' material + 5x 'higher tier' material

* although in the higher tier group Essence of fire and lnuar steel do not seem to be granted via trainings although it is possible that the % chance is so small that it is rarely gained

this helps a lot thanks a lot of time has to be put into training for so little material reward.

 

It would seem the most effective trainings to be used while online are the basic trainings and the most efficient to be used whilst offline are the advanced trainings based upon the ratio of, time required : materials gained.
