New And Improved Way To Drive Us Nuts!

We are all trying to be patient with US1 server for over three years now. A lot of us are now experiencing another problem far greater then the 'beloved' glitches, sticks, chat problems, uncontrollable sailing and freeze ups that happen constantly in game.
This 'New And Improved' BS that a lot of players are having is that they cannot sign into Pirate Storm's game itself. Just a blank, black screen without the spinning ship's wheel telling you you're about to sign into the game. If you are lucky enough to see the spinning ship's wheel, it just keeps spinning and spinning and spinning without results.
I have been trying to sign in and play Pirate Storm since the middle of December 2014...For some players it's been longer.
My question today is, when in hell are we going to be able to at least sign into Pirate Storm's game? Our guilds have by now think we've left the game completely and gone on with our every day lives. I have no way of knowing if my guild has kept my spot...I hope so. I've worked hard for our guild, and would like to be able to rejoin them again very soon...Miss you terribly FSW Hugs Dear Friends! I try everyday to be there with you!

Please also let your guilds know you're still with them by posting comments to them here. Guilds are probably searching the forums to find answers to their missing guild members.

Come on now, BigPoint, we're pirates here! It's been two months since we've been able to sign in and play the game with our friends.

If other pirates out there are having the same sign in problems, please let BigPoint know with your vote and experiences you've had with the sign in problems...Thanks in advance, pirates!

 

I can sign in but it does take a long time. The black screen appears when I try to log in... for a long time. After about 2-5 minutes of the black screen the spinning wheel appears for a few minutes. Then I have to refresh several times before it finally starts to load. This whole evolution can take as little as 5 minutes (rarely) to as much as 20 minutes (becoming more frequent). So yes I am having trouble logging in.

 

For me it's a 2 hour (or more) wait with either a black screen without the ship's wheel or the spinning wheel without any sort of luck of signing into the game. I've done the refresh button and the global 'delete data' thing. Still the same problems.

 

I have issues around 20:30 EST on the US server where I freeze for minutes at a time. When I come out of port the screen goes black. If I refresh it will go back to the log-in screen. This is when my log-in issue begins. Same as described above, black screen, wheel spinning but the blue progress bar below is not there. Wheel spins & spins. You have to refresh, arrow back, close browser? All different things with no sequence or meaning and at some point you will finally get logged in. Only to freeze again and start over. Any time prior to the above mentioned, no issues. If I log-in to a different server during this issue, no problems. Some feedback BP?

 

By some miracle I finally got into Pirate Storm to play the game for the first time since mid Dec. It takes me a good hour to finally get into play PS with all the spinning ship's wheel and all. The worst for me has always been the morning hours straight through till about 2:00 PM US central time. From that point on, it's the usual things we've been dealing with and posting about for flipping years. I am starting to think BigPoint is like either an ATM machine (in reverse) or a slot machine. No human being works there. It's just an automated machine to make money. BigPoint just keeps playing, 'Spin-To-Win!' But truthfully it's the players (especially the paying players; AKA Paying Customers), are the ones constantly losing. We have put up with incredibly bad service for so many years. There has neven been one solitary feedback from BP. Not one word from anyone in the company. Not one glimmer of hope that we, the players, will ever see an end to all the problems we face on a daily basics.
I can not believe how the players are treated on this site. Any other site, the company rectified their actions immediately.
We can post and complain to our heart's content. It get's us nowhere with this company. It just makes us feel better. Like Kindred Spirits.
What BigPoint has failed to remember, the word, Customer. It's from the Medieval Latin, Custumarius. A Noun: Meaning: A customer (sometimes known as a client, buyer, or purchaser) is the recipient of a good, service, product, or idea, obtained from a seller, vendor, or supplier for a monetary or other valuable consideration. Customers are generally categorized into two types:
1. An intermediate customer or trade customer (more informally: "the trade") who is a dealer that purchases goods for re-sale.
2. An ultimate customer who does not in turn re-sell the things bought but either passes them to the consumer or actually is the consumer.
Those are just examples:
We have kept our part of this bargin. BigPoint it is now up to you to finally listen to what the players, the customers are saying; and deal with and resolve all the problems, all the issues that the players, the customers are facing every day, every night, every hour.

 

Well written, I agree to your statement. I havn't felt so disappointed to a game company before. As you said, I havn't even once in my life experienced a company that care so little about their game.

to edit post delete them and give bans in the forum

and usually with the message contact customer support thread is closed because uses is send to customer support

and that helped the game so much
2 years forums moderators like hawks edit and delete

this part works perfectly
the rest company is non existence

so stop complain just only give money to the company
the nerve people have in these days they actual want to have something for the money they give

Moderators do so in their free time. I'm afraid moderators are indeed unable to fix in-game problems. The forum team are here to help with general questions regarding the game and collect information on issues and feedback. Therefore for more complex issues contacting the Customer Care Team is indeed the correct way to proceed. Editing and deletion of posts is done if they contain inappropriate content. If they do not they won't be edited or deleted.

I can maybe help with the log in issues,as i have had it happen to me, if u get the "Spinning Wheel Of Death as we call in in HOG,
try this, once the wheel spins and is doesnt go any farther, clik ur back button on your browser9 this usually will get u in,
if this deoant owrk then close browser and try again
if this stil doesnt work, there is 1 more option.... when u get spinning wheel of death, try the back button on your browser, if still nothing, then clik the address bar( highlight it blue) then clik enter, this usually helps with getting in

Thank-you for your help, brutality. I had to give you a like on this one because it really is good advice. Unfortunately I have tried this and everything else humanly possible. No other online gaming site I've been on has ever had this kind of trouble.

change the language!?!?!?!?!
my friend change the language and it was easier to log
so if you do not want to chat just to play
try that also

in the 3rd language change he replied logging is as should be lol

so you have problems with logging
change the language in the game
you do not understand anything in the menus
ohh you can not have it all in this life
either a game in a language you do not speak or no game your choice

 

Log-ins are nasty for me also. Spinning wheel just keeps on turnin with no progress. I try to refresh the screen. Sometimes takes up to 4 or 5 tries but eventually it loads properly. Hope this helps yall.

 

i'm having a problem with ads at the top of my screen (edit) takes up about 15-20% of my screen,, no way to turn them off , i play several games , this is the only one that this happens on.

 

From the description you have provided it sounds as though you have adware on your computer. There shouldn't be banners along the top part of your browser screen in game, at least not eminating from the game directly.

 

I always get the 'spinning wheel of death' all I do is refresh a few times and wait this works 99% of the time for me. hope it works for you and the banners at the top of your screen are add ons that are in downloads and annoying to remove

 

TWillie check for a service called savings bull on your computer. I had a problem with banners and pop-ups also, even with my pop-up blockers on. Its a add on that hides and has been installed also on your computer I'm betting. You will have to open your task manager and go to services to find it. You can stop the service and delete it there. Hope it helps you.
