Navigation and the Drawing of the Eye

I tried posting this earlier this week and am not sure it was processed correctly. Assistance or guidance please. Am presently in the Dune Sea, having somehow navigating out of Carados or whereever newbies begin. I know not how i got out of there, but need to find my way back to complete the first challenge. Since the challenges seem to pyramid, I need to go back. I keep trying the maps as I can, but seem to get sunk as soon as I enter an area. *Am running low on funds for repairs too. arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

any suggesstions or assistance would be appreciated.

To return to Carados you can use the world map view o determine which wall border to travel to in order to drop down to a lower zone each time. If a zone is displayed as being above another in the world map view then the border wall for that zone will be the northern wall, if displayed to the left it will be the western wall. To avoid being sunk you can drive along the outskirts of each zone to avoid being targeted b NPC's. Additionally, if you run out of gold for repairing it is okay as you can still restore your ship from being sunk for free.

To access the world map simply press 'm' on your keyboard and then click the world map button at the bottom of the map window that appears. You will see an avatar icon representing your location and from there can determine how to return to Carados from whichever zone you are in currently.

i did the cienga map and died 3 times but did not get the dhuka ship in merchant and I cant get bonus map back up to try again what do I do
