damage question

    ok i have a question I hit 5 to 7k against players with no armor, how is it some players can drop my average to 1k? Even with Plates and armor and orders this seems excessive especially when they are not using a ahab. Is there some special buff i'm missing out on or am not aware of? Any help with this would be much appreciated.

    Hi,

    There are no hidden / specal buffs that some players have potentially available to them that others cannot. Applying multiple items together can result in your acheiving low damage hits on other players. Using defesnsive consumable items along side defensive Captain's orders can have dramatic results, particularly when a player has maxed their ship, Scrolls of Power and Captain's Orders.

    Thanks Wedgewood, I am aware of the various combinations that can be used to create the drastic effects, these several instances have been abnormal. So I figured id ask the question. Thanks for your input
