Severe Lag Issues

The game was quite responsive previously and none of my other games or internet sites seem to be affected. I click and 2-5 seconds later the game responds.

I've cleared the cache in my browsers and have tried the game in multiple browsers to no avail. Maxthon, Chrome, Firefox and IE all have issues, some even with the game loading. Also I completed malware and virus scans with no issues reported and no services are running that would logically interfere and no new software has been installed.

Ping and speed tests indicate my isp is giving me my 25Mb bandwidth and no other games or sites have any issues. The only thing i can think of is that I did the latest flash update just the other day. Since the game is developed in flash I wonder if that is the root of the issue?

Top of the line computer here rtp it is not your machine nor connection it is the server, it is not good and BP refuses to recognize it. Just look at the number of posts about lag, yet we deal with sideways ships everyday on USA1! It is totally awesome to play arena this way especially while wasting costly consumables.

Vino - I did upgrade to the latest flash hence my question regarding any issues with it. As to hardware, let's just say as an IT guy with 26 years experience, my computer is not lacking anything. In regards to browsers, I'm not downloading a plethora of browsers just to play one game. If it can't operate on standard browsers, then the game is more borked than it appears to be already and BP really needs to look into this situation even more so.

& yes, when i tried to open game in Firefox , google chrome, opera
[it worked , but heavy lag- almost consumed 600 Mb usage out of 2 gb Ram [was lagging a lot ]
