Unannounced Monster Hunt?!?!?!?

It would appear that last night there was a Monster Hunt event that was not posted in the forums.. why is this?? I for one love competing for the bonus map and the badge, so why were we not told beforehand?
I also heard there was a Diamond Rush during the event... because the event wasn't posted beforehand (I would have been playing during the event) it cost BP about $120-$240 that I was going to spend on the next Diamond Rush.

Monster hunts are typically during the middle of the day when a lot of players are working. There should be more than one event that allows players that are on late at night or early in the morning to compete.

 

Yes, I missed half of this Monster Hunt as well thinking it started at 6 pm Eastern time. Only to find that it had started a 5pm.

 

well i believe that the event should last one whole day
so everyone will have the chance to buy the ahab and the special ammo
also the hunt should be 1 hour hunt 1 hour rest 1 hour hunt
that will make for 12 hunts in a day and everyone can participate

now if for any reason you work school or any other it is really possible to miss the event any time
it is more like a fun event but then why some players feel left out?

 

i was here for the whole monsterhunt event and didnt see any diamond rush?? dunno about that but yeah they need to announce this event in forums atleast a day in advance....

 

I have been playing since last December and since I work I have only been able to do 1 monster hunt. And that was on a day I was sick; off of work.

 

I think they should also adjust the zones where players can get monsters. It's pretty sad high level players are in the middle zones when they should be forced to the high level zones. If they only allowed low level players in the lower zones, mid level players in the middle zones and forced all the high level players to the top zones the "competition" for killing the most monsters would be more fair. It's why I just log out and refuse to play this game when that event is occurring.

 

I don't agree with that.. there are low lvl maxed players. It would give them an unfair advantage.

 

yeah mac is right i have seen a level 13 with frosty 45k hp and hitting like 3k with stone lol...... level doesnt have any affect on how strong a boat is ( except seals and COs ) it is what is on the boat that counts.

 

So base it on decks/guns/harps and hp then. It's not difficult to make it more balanced so newer players can compete more fairly. Otherwise, same old same old and obviously pay to win. nothing drives away new players like an unbalanced pay to win game.

 

what about before hunt begins force you to be in a specific zone if you want to win???
2min before event starts tell you a specific zone you have to be
that way thy can even split online members to all zones.
if you do not choose to go to that zone you simple get no kills not rewards and even better if you are not in the zoen dedicated for you make monsters not selectable for you
also during the hunt make all zone no pvp zones
that will solve the other problem of pushing to win the hunt
when one guild goes to the same zone and shoot all the time the enemy ships and leave 1 player to shoot the monsters
how do you think bigpoint some people make 600 monsters in 1h ??

or is just another way of pushing

even a simple event like the hunt that the price is nothing
is being abused by players

and moderators do not tell me to contact support when you ask for help they ask screen shoot
how 1 screen shoot will show that problem???

only way is the people responsible for the game to be online at the hunt and see it for themselves
it is not that they can not know who is first in monsters kills and in which zone and go check

 

In the end I think the US server for this game is dying anyways so don't bother doing anything at all BP. We'll just go elsewhere to find even better games not developed by BP and actually limit the pay to win capabilities. It's not like the internet is full of free to play online games!
