Improvements Sometimes Not Working

I have a Dhuka. On this boat I have added the following improvements:

Nornen figurehead
Steel bulkhead
Reinforced keel
Cast-iron anchor
Fin rudder
Flutter sail

Sometimes the improvements are working and the speed is 14.8 knots.

Other days (like today) something isn't working and I only get 14.0 knots.

The difference is really visible.

Can you fix it?

Running a hydro crystal. One of your special items is called a "Hydro Crystal." Activating this will give you an extra 20% or .7 knots. (Whichever is less I think?) This could be your problem. I don't know where your other knot is going though Hope I helped

Somehow I didn't think hydro crystals would show up on the Inventory screen but they do.

also , really should only put gold improvements on the duhka!! if u put diamonds upgrades then it will be wasted when u get an event boat!!!
best thing is to ask someone before u spend alot of ds on upgrades, either ask in global or ur guild leader or in forums, most will give u straight answer!! i personally would of told u to savethe ds and get event boat and put ds upgrades on event boat or paladin
